The Advantages and Disadvantages of Private Tutoring Nowadays, it is a common practice that pupils have private tutors. A recent investigation shows that about 70 percent of pupils in cities have private tutors. I think private tutoring has advantages as well as disadvantages.
The advantages of private tutoring are as follows. Private tutoring is usually one-to-one, the teacher knows the weak points as well as strong points of the pupil, and teaching is, in most cases, directly to the point. Besides, for those shy pupils who dare not ask questions in the class even if they cant understand what is taught, private tutoring gives them the chance to catch up with other pupils. It can be seen that private tutoring benefits a lot of pupils. However, the disadvantages of private tutoring cant be neglected. For one thing, private tutoring takes up much of the pupils time that they can hardly find enough time for rest and entertainment, which are essential for their physical and mental health. For another, some teachers who are busy shuttling from one family to another tend to neglect their regular teaching duties. What is more, some teachers only offer the so-called tips for test-taking instead of helping the pupils acquire what is most needed.
Since private tutoring has advantages and disadvantages, parents should be careful when they decide to find private tutors for their child. In my opinion, greater importance should be attached to classroom teaching and practice, to the improvement of teaching quality and to the tapping of the pupils potential. Thus, the pupils can grow up healthily.
Migrant workers have made a great contribution to the prosperity of cities. They leave their home-land for better chances. Some want to change their destiny, some want to make a fortune. Whatever the purposes they cherished when millions of them streamed into big cities, they have promoted the development of cities.
Most of the migrant workers are hard working and unafraid of hardships. They take up the dirtiest, the most strenuous or dangerous jobs which city laborers are unwilling to do. With lots of building they have set up and streets they have kept clean, they have helped modernize and beautify cities. Not only have they become the main work force in the construction sector, they also have helped liberate city women from heavy housework chores by taking care of the babies, cleaning houses or providing any other services citizens need.
Although some of the citizens complain about the increasing number of the problems such as theft, robbery a few of migrant workers have committed, most of the citizens agree that their contribution is obvious, and with better management, their role in the construction of cities will definitely be greater.

The advantages and disadvantages of being tutor.some students think that is not a problem,if they can deal out our time well,and they also be a tutor after school.but some dont agree with it.they will say:"Do you feel that you dont have enough time for your studies.In contrast,being a tutor is a kind of boring.Everyday,u have to correct students homework and teach them new things or help them revise their studies.They seem to be unwilling to study and u will easily get angry with them."
one example,here is a tutor of refresher class.she said that her boss prepares many papers for my students to finish and she just checks thier answers and teach them to correct,those are easy job!So,she wont spend too many time on this job.she can often leaves the refresher class at 6:00 to 6:30.
